I encourage you to research several companies before you choose who will inspect your next next home.
A few things to consider when choosing:
- Time spent on the inspection: If your home is 1,500 square feet or larger, the inspection should take at least 2 1/2 hours...especially if the home is older than 10 years.
- Photos in the report: An inspector truly focused on providing you with a solid report will have photos to support his or her findings.
- The inspector should be licensed and insured: Check their names and licenses out on the TREC website.
